Simple Diy Glass Jar with Spigot

Feb 28th

Glass jar with spigot – A jar with spigot provides a basic project for kids to do for school and home. A decorative jar, such as an old-clear cookie jar or a large drink dispenser jar with a spigot, works well for a home interior water feature. With basic supplies and less than an hour of your time, you must create an aquarium-themed jar fountain — or customize design to your liking.
Read full fountain pump warnings and directions. If pump has an on / off button, switch it on. This saves having to take apart fountain. Hold pump connected until you have finished creating fountains.  Pour 1/2-inch of water in jar. Attach fountain pump to bottom of glass jar with spigot in middle of it by pressing down on top of pump. This squeezes air out of suction cups to secure pump to glass. Leave it hang out of jar, unplugged.
Spread flowers kit on bottom edge of castle or other decoration with a spatula or butter knife. Place decoration of pump. Place a doorway of cord or wire cord through decorating and out through top. Put a pea-sized dollop of flowers kit on end of each piece aquarium greenery. Arrange green around castle or other decoration. Press kit flowers towards bottom of jar. It is designed to hold water. Add water to glass jar with spigot to a level 2 inches over top of pump. If you prefer to keep water 1 inch above pump for more of a bubbling effect. 6th Dry your hands thoroughly. Plug cord.
