Hanging antique glass bottles add a special atmosphere to any space, and give you the opportunity to show the glass bottles that may be valuable antiques locked. Hanging bottles can be painted different colors, or filled with small lights add sparkle and a modern touch to the rooms of gray. You can even store small decorative pins or part of them. They are a great way to recycle everything from vintage bottles to empty glass vials in customized art.

Peel the label off the antique glass bottles after 5 minutes soaking. Wash each bottle in a sink filled with hot water and soap. Rub down the side of the bottle with a rag to remove leftover bits of the tag and tail, and invert the bottle in a towel to dry. Run a stud finder on the roof in the area to hang the antique glass bottles. Position the ladder directly under the ground, and ask a helper to support it as they rise. Insert a screw eye into the beam.

Cable length depends on how low you want to hang antique glass bottles. For example, if you want a bottle hanging four feet off the ground, cut a length of 6 feet of wire to give you enough extra cable to wrap around the screw and the bottle.
